Job Overview
St Margaret of Scotland Hospice is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fundraising Manager to develop and implement our fundraising strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering our voluntary income targets by researching trends, developing new income streams, managing donor relationships, and maximising sustainable fundraising revenues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Expanding corporate sponsorships, major donor schemes, legacy giving, and sensitive patient/family fundraising
- Building strong relationships with existing and potential funders
- Ensuring integrity of the donor database and timely donor acknowledgements
- Collaborating with service departments to inform fundraising plans and engage staff
- Driving initiatives to maximise sustainable revenues from Hospice sources
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 5 years of fundraising management experience
- Proven success in developing diverse revenue streams and corporate partnerships
- Exceptional relationship building, communication and organisational skills
- Strong analytical abilities to identify trends and develop compelling fundraising plans
- A Bachelor's degree
- A clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel up to 25%
