Enjoy a sparkling reception upon arrival and savour a sumptuous two-course lunch prepared by the talented culinary team at the Glasgow Grosvenor. Followed by a captivating performance by the Jim Anderson Jazz Quintet.

The Jazz Lunch 2024 is not only an afternoon of great entertainment and dining but also a vital fundraiser for our Hospice. By attending, you'll be supporting the essential care we provide to patients and their families.

The Jim Anderson Jazz Quintet is a 5-piece collaboration of experienced players, who specialise mainly in light jazz/swing standards.

Instrumentalists (drum, piano, bass guitar and tenor sax) are drawn from well-known big bands on the Glasgow circuit. The vocalist (Jim Anderson) has most recently performed with the 'Jazz Monkeys' who played this event last year at the Oran Mor.

The set is made up of mainly vocal arrangements with some added instrumental jazz standards (Take the A Train, Blues in the Closet etc.). Songs include well-known standards from the likes of Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Bobby Darin, Dusty Springfield, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Junior.
